Position: Software Engineer (Content Server Engineering)

Location:Bangalore,India

Qualification:MS/BS/BTech/MTech in CS or equivalent

Experience: 4 - 8 yrs

skills:

software development experience
Object-Oriented design & programming concepts
Strong in Windows & Unix Debugging & Troubleshooting utilities like WinDbg, dbx, gdb, truss, etc
Good in Third Party Component Integration with existing Products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Quick learner with strong technical and analytical (problem solving) skills.

Responsibility

Fix defects in existing software for regularly scheduled maintenance releases as well as patch releases.
Manage customer issues and provide detailed and timely reports
Work with various Documentum teams including QA and Customer Support to resolve technical issues.
Instruct, direct, and review the work of other engineers.
Identify and oversee process improvements within the team
Work with Manager & Engineering team to assess technical feasibility of new features.
Write technical specifications for new features and provide time estimates for assigned tasks.
Design and implement new features.
